VISUALIZATION OF SYSTEMS’ COMPLEXITY
COMPLEXITY MAPPING / 2025
In this project, I was tasked with visualizing the complexity of an intermediate system. I researched the impact of colonialism on Hawaii.
After gathering enough information of my topic, I began organizing all of the information into categories. Within and outside of these categories, I started noticing connections between some of my research. After establishing these relationships, I began to consolidate all of the information and make the map as cohesive as possible.
Once I decided on the layout of the information, I began to work on the concept and visuals. This project introduced me to systems thinking and finding a way to seek out interventions within complexity.
